With a solid foundation in psychology and a license in early childhood education, Golnar brings extensive experience in nonprofit management, supporting vulnerable parents and children. Her work across various daycare settings has equipped me with practical strategies for parenting and early childhood education, offering innovative solutions for young children. As a mother of two, she understands the complexities parents face, and provides insights to help manage busy lives while promoting mental health awareness. Golnar’s goal is to empower immigrant families and foster inclusive environments in daycare settings.

Workshop Description:

This workshop is focused on creating an inclusive environment for immigrant children in a daycare setting. This workshop will include props, classroom activity ideas, and effective communication strategies for working with new parents. The goal is to help Early Childhood Educators and other childcare professionals create a welcoming and relaxed environment for all.

The NSCR Community Room is located on the second floor of Capilano Mall next to NSCR’s office. The room is located down a hallway between NSCR’s office and the entrance to mall parking.
