As any parent knows, searching for affordable, appropriate child care can be stressful and challenging.

The North Shore Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) program is here to assist you with all your child care information needs. We provide one-to-one consultation that helps you understand what to look for in child care that is right for your child. We have lists of available child care providers in the community. We can also assist you with the Affordable Child Care Benefit program if you are eligible. Contact us today!

I spoke with [someone at NSCR] about my concern – you guys are awesome! Really appreciate it!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you recommend a good day care?

We encourage parents and caregivers to search for child care options using our Child Care Search function. We do not provide recommendations but rather information so that you can make the best choice of child care possible for your child (see the Parent Statement of Responsibility). We can also provide a referral list of licensed child care providers based on your family’s needs. For example, we can provide child care providers by location, type of care and age of your child. To help us understand your needs, please fill out a request for referral or contact us (see information below).

What is the Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB)? How do I know if I am eligible for the ACCB?

The ACCB is a financial benefit program provided by the Province of British Columbia to make child care more affordable for families. Whether you are eligible depends on a variety of factors. For more information about the ACCB, click here or contact us (see contact information below).
