WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Join Rishma, an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about emotional well-being. This engaging and interactive session will provide you with a greater understanding of stress in children & adults, as well as practical strategies to manage stress effectively, in order to cultivate a safe, relaxed and joyful environment for yourself and those you provide care for. Rishma uses her OT and public speaking skill sets to combine art & science in a fun and productive evening.

Bio:

Rishma has been an Occupational Therapist for almost 30 years and has worked in various areas of practice over the course of her career.  She owns her own private practice called OT4Life, providing individual and group sessions for adults and older adults. Rishma’s recent focus has been on mental & emotional well-being, and she has provided numerous workshops on this topic. Rishma is very grateful for this opportunity to educate child care providers, a group for whom she holds the highest regard and respect.
