This workshop will discuss the social emotional health in Early childhood Programs. The educators will learn about self-regulation, reflective behaviour and relationship building. We will explore a strength-based approach that focuses on what we can do vs. stigmatizing children. We will also discuss the underlying factors that affect children’s emotional health. We will talk about creating a child centred curriculum and environment to manage these issues.

About the presenter: Pooja Kalsi holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Education and has 28 years of diverse experience in the field. She is passionate about fostering children’s creativity through documentation and building resilient educator teams. She currently teaches ECE at Langara College.
