Emergency First Aid – Child & Community Care with CPR-B/AED meets the WorkSafeBC/CSA Z1210-17 Basic standard and fulfills the Ministry of Health’s requirements for child and community/residential care workers. This course includes CPR-B/AED to equip participants to respond effectively to infant emergencies. An option to upgrade to include CPR-A/B/AED is available for those who also need to respond to adult and child emergencies.
This session is a 2 day session with 4 hours each time:
April 9th from 5pm-9pm
April 16th from 5pm-9pm
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is a for everyone.
Wear comfortable clothing to be able to participate in various scenarios.
Dinner is provided.
Instructor Bio: Karen Hillmann brings over 30 years of experience in teaching first aid courses and recertifications. She is passionate about empowering individuals with the confidence and skills necessary to respond effectively during emergencies. Whether in occupational settings or everyday life, Karen finds fulfillment in helping others build life-saving competencies and feel prepared for any situation.

The NSCR Community Room is located on the second floor of Capilano Mall next to NSCR’s office. The room is located down a hallway between NSCR’s office and the entrance to mall parking. Occasionally the glass doors to the Community Room are locked. If you have any issues located or accessing the Community Room please contact us.
