  • Virtual Workshop: The Art of Listening In & With Child Care
    8 May 2021
    9:30 am - 12:30 pm

How can we transition listening from a simple act to a complex art – in a way that inspires us and our work with children, families, and colleagues? This session provides an opportunity to clarify what the BC Early Learning Framework (2019) means by the ‘pedagogy of listening’, determine if it matters to you, and explore what it can mean in the day-to-day work of child care (front line, supervisor, owner, etc.). It is also an opportunity to come together and celebrate Child Care Month in BC!

Facilitator Bio:
Alison has lived Early Care & Learning practice in many different settings, taking on many different roles, in different communities. Her work is motivated by the desire to live in an increasingly respectful and compassionate world – one that honours young children and those who care for (and with!) them.
