In this workshop we will discuss stages of toddler development. We will share ideas on how to encourage your toddler to play. We will identify some common challenging behaviours and we will come up with some strategies on positive guidance.This workshop is welcome for families, caregivers, and educators.

Kim Pender

Kim has been working in the Child Care field for 36 years. She has Diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Adult Education. Throughout her career, she has worked with families, children with exceptionalities, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and adolescents. She has been sharing her experiences and knowledge through presenting customized workshops and training for educators, parents, students, and staff teams.

Description:

The NSCR Community Room is located on the second floor of Capilano Mall next to NSCR’s office. The room is located down a hallway between NSCR’s office and the entrance to mall parking. Occasionally the glass doors to the Community Room are locked. If you have any issues located or accessing the Community Room please contact us.
