WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:  This workshop looks at discussing how we represent gender in the classroom in an inclusive environment. Throughout this workshop educators are invited to look at addressing how we as educators may be influenced by our ideas of gender roles and how they become portrayed in the classroom, discussing ways to make our classrooms inclusive for all children, regardless of gender

PRESENTER: Ashleigh Davies is a post basic instructor with Sprott Shaw College and has worked with children in a variety of capacities for several years. Ashleigh is passionate about bringing topics of social justice and democratic practice into her pedagogical work.
